Golden Eagle Trans-Siberian Express

The world’s greatest railway journey. The Trans-Siberian runs like a steel ribbon connecting east and west from Moscow over the Urals, across the Russian steppes and alongside the shore of the world’s largest freshwater lake, Baikal. We follow the classic route between Moscow and Vladivostok so by the time your journey ends you will have travelled over 6,000 miles (10,000kms). If you are going to 'do the Trans-Siberian', do it in style onboard the Golden Eagle.

The Silk Road - A Legendary Journey

Retracing one of the most important trading routes of ancient civilisation the Silk Road, onboard the Golden Eagle and Shangri-La Express private trains, follows in the footsteps of such legendary figures as Alexander the Great and Marco Polo. We travel an enormous total of 6,800 miles (11,000kms) across 5 countries and 6 time zones through areas only accessible by train. A spectacular journey of discovery awaits along the classic Silk Road.

Caspian Odyssey (New for 2012)

A captivating journey as we travel through and explore the beauty of the Silk Road passing through the fabled trading cities of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan onboard the fully en-suite Golden Eagle. Travelling across the Caspian Sea on a daylight train ferry we reach the Azerbaijan capital of Baku. From here our route heads through the South Caucasus towards Georgia before arriving into our final destination of Armenia and its historic capital, Yerevan.
